If I ever wanted an alternative to Twitter, facebook/meta would be literally the last company I would seek it from. Internet will be a better place once this company finally dies.

Well bet mark paid 1000 of users to make 1000 of threads account a day then this makes sense.
I really dont know a simpe person who wish to give for free his creditenials to a company which cant be trusted.
Its like a giving a fresh juicy bone to a buldog and waiting maybe he wont eats it.

That could easily be 2 billion users in a under a month if they kept going at that rate (Which they wont of course)
