Weekly poll: is the OnePlus Nord 3 a flagship killer? Anyone want a Nord CE 3 instead?

09 July 2023
The Nord 3's display is larger, higher resolution and with higher refresh rate than its predecessor, also it is powered by an old flagship chipset, the Dimensity 9000.

The Nord3 is really good, i just wish they made one with snapdragon 7+ gen2 too.

Absolutely not a flagship killer, and the Nord CE 3 is better value.

When I get the spare money I am so gonna get the Nord ce 3 as a backup phone.
Was originally gonna use it as my main phone but the OnePlus 11 came out first.

If Nord CE 3 would get UFS 3.1 + LPDDR5 memory combo, then this is a great hardware.

Nothing also did that, while the Moto Edge 30 got a UFS 3.1* but LPDDR4x.

Yes, I want a Nord 3 (not the CE) and already pre-ordered one. OxygenOS is very familiar to me and I want to keep using it (no, I don't hate the current OOS at all), plus the phone seems great for my needs. Also my carrier had a nice price (449 euros) for the 256GB variant. Also if a quick Google search yielded correct results, Poco only gets OS updates until Android 15, and Nord 3 gets until Android 16 + another year of security patches, which I care about too.

Nobody cares about alert sliders 😂😂😂😂

I'd rather get the nord ce 3. Now ... that has everything I need. Camera with OIS and a qualcom processor.

Any word on whether it will be released in the US? The 9200 chipset is very appealing.

Without SD card, audio jack, no thanks OnePlus.

Nothing Phone 2 is like 2 days away now so why buy Oppo rebrand aka oneplus

I would be interested to see the sales of the phone in my region if they would even try to sell.

The Nord 3 is a decent contender in this price range, but it's outclassed by the Poco F5 or the Pixel in basically every category. OnePlus squandered its lead by removing the headphone jack, MicroSD slot, and reducing its skin to a fraction of its former self.

I’m going with this summer’s star: the Poco F5. It’s 20% cheaper, it’s better looking, slimmer, lighter, better SoC, longer lasting battery, slimmer bezels and the list goes on and on and on!

More generic overpriced BS. OnePlus have almost abandoned the European market due to such poor sales.

Drop the price on both phones by 20%, add microSD, headphone jack and Gorilla Glass for the display. Then maybe worth it
