The build quality is the only good factor in my opinion, you can get a Dell with i5 11th Gen, 120Hz 400nits 1920x1080 IPS LCD and a RTX 3050 4 GB for 64k at the moment. With upgradeable sockets for both storage and Ram.

Also I don't understand, can't you replace the SSD in it at will? iirc it's not even integrated into the motherboard.

It does nto looks bad but since i am proud owner of a Lenovo Legion gaming laptop with Ryzen 7 CPU, 32GB ram, 1TB SSD and Geforce 3070 RTX 8GB for 1790euros bought 21.9.2021 i think i skip.
In my life this is my third gaming laptop.
Before had Asus which worked prety nicely for 7 years and still woking but sold it to my best neighbour. And before had gaming laptop from HP which lasted only 4 years then cooling at my graphic card went popcorn durring playing Darksouls 2.
In other words having not very good experience with HP brand.
Hope this Infinix do better.

The price difference is too low for them to skimp and give 512GB SSDs. I can see its use in budget laptops. Or perhaps you think more available storage is detrimental to performance?

Yeah, no thanks. Make a laptop with good airflow and cooling. Thickness is not an issue. Nobody is dying to to buy these thin metal clones that heat up like induction cookers. Don't even bother if you want to sell these with the memory soldered.

macos is excellent in battery managment irrespective if its apple apps or 3rd party apps.
Macbooks are best for design/creative works, for anything else you might be better off with any windows laptop.

The motherboard circuit board contains already processor with in-built ram and some integrated SSD - price will add up more.

Apart from this, creators have to keep backup.

As someone who don't live in India, 13th Gen i9 with 32GB RAM and 1TB storage for that pricing is incredibly cheap.
