    AR/VR/ whatevs is still a niche market specially if you're asking for that price it will definitely flop unless you're a die hard apple fanatic.

      Interestingly, the price point of the Vision Pro set an anchor for me. Yes, it's absolutely groundbreaking tech, but then I realized I could get an entire motorcycle for that money. That's gonna be way more fun than anything I can think of with VR/AR/XR.

        Nothing new. Any luxury products which are very overpriced has to be nich and desired, so Apple doing some reverse psychology as someone mentioned in the comments. They will try to hype it up by making it so niche that even if you want it you will have to go through 5 hells to get it, simple psychological games to make it more desirable... Turd.

          Cant stop imagine the lady on the photo saying (3.5k for this?) With her hands gestures.

            Well, it's not like anybody was already going to buy it anyways especially after that steep of a price. Appointments may improve the experience considering apple partnered with Zeiss to provide proper lenses too and these may have trained professionals present at location. The verge article states that stores will be having a huge inventory of these lenses too.

              Psychological tactics to generate interest in an overpriced and useless product.👎Oneplus used such tricks when they started out 10 years ago. Limited access/availabilty makes people curious and attracts them towards you.

                Usually companies spread their products everywhere, whoever wanna buy will buy, else it'll stay there. But imagine the vision pro booking is less than expected, with a closed store area, it'll be the nail in the coffin.

                  Pretty sure no one is interested in this other than those who want to become beta testers. Gonna be worse if it is locked down to only work on apple ecosystem for that exorbitant price when you can get like the PS VR set that actually have a platform(PS4/PS5) & can also be used on PC for fraction of the cost.

                        Apple Vision Flop.

                        The next Airpower in the making. Probably dead before it reaches Gen 2.

                        For what it supposedly offers, you can get an alternative device for less than a quarter of the $3500 price tag.
