Why the hell is S22 getting updates first and then S23? Shouldn't current flagship get it primarily?

justasmile, 08 Jul 2023That doesn't mean it fixes the banana blur problem, does it?Yes it does. Enhance-X is an app that fixes blurry photos. Either hit or zip it.

Do we get some Samsung specific app update news also or something worth making a news as this security update seems to be news worthy?

Maybe there are phone brands out there that deserve coverage to make news about brands that do rugged phones and so on ? To be honest i never understand why it's a gsm in name site while do only specific 4-5 brands news only while leave out loads of interesting brands with interesting devices. But instead we get news about security updates that are not news worthy. Android OS update makes sense to show what models get at least for people owning a model they can see it as a news but security updates is like app update that just makes no sense for it to have mentioned and to make news out of them as there for i would ask why other brands dont get the security update news like i had June security update for my Poco F5 just recently

Anton., 08 Jul 2023It's called supply and demand. With so many manufactur... moreCan we add these carriers who are an added nuisance to smartphone makers? Multiple carriers x regions in this world (instead of just, say NA / ASIA / EU / AFRICAN Global variants).

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2023"The July 2023 security update fixes 90 security issue... moreIt's mostly the patches from the Android itself. When your other device (let's say anything that is not an S22) receives a July security patch, it will most likely get a number of fixes for security issues that are roughly the same as what you read in this article.
Android, and every single OS in this world including iOS itself, has never been without bugs. But there are 2 types of bugs: bugs that directly affect the user experience (like if you can't use some specific feature on your phone because you got and error, green tint issues, bootloop, etc.) and bugs that don't directly affect user experience (data leak or some security issues that fixed on this update).
That's why developers always write "bug fixing" on their patch notes, even though you don't feel any bugs, or even though you feel the bugs you're experiencing aren't fixed, because the "bugs" themselves are much more than what you notice, not just what you can look at your user experience.

                                    Samsung Galaxy S9

I really should have gotten a Galaxy, my Xiaomi 12 is still on the January patch.

I really hope they start releasing updates again, the phone used update every two months with one month of delay, which is certenatly not good, but it's something.
