Pumpino, 12 Jul 2023I remember when Android releases were something to get exci... moreThe upgrade to Android 13 back then was extremely boring since it was mostly just a refinement of the Material You implementation that Google introduced in Android 12, which had a lot more bug reports than Android 13. Looking at the features Android 14 has to offer, I could have guessed this will be another boring update that Google offers to users, with ironically stricter sideloading regulations (you'll only be able to install anything that was designed for Android 6 and above).
Same goes to iOS. Ever since iOS 15, it's been pretty boring. They introduced some minor features (that some of them they took from Android ofc), but they keep dropping older iPhone from the new iOS update which logically should be able to run those iOS updates because again they just add some minor features that doesn't requires much work on processor and storage!

After installing the update, it asks for a restart but not turning on for several hours. This happened 3rd time in pixel 6a. Pressing power and volume buttons for several seconds turns on the device but installation failed. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I remember when Android releases were something to get excited about. Nothing much has changed since Android 12, and the changes to the appearance of Android 11 weren't necessarily positive.

as much as i like the smoothness of my iphone i cant stop using my samsung because of its ability to split screen and pop up windows which i find it very useful when taking notes while in browser and calculator app.

Trooper, 12 Jul 2023They need to concentrate on adding strength to their hardwa... moretheir hardware is enough to drive the software. if you are an apple fan, you will miss the magsafe, bigger cameras, lightning port(lmao?), a faster face scan and a lot more HARDWARE dependant stuff. in Pixel, if you are not really looking for those and you are ready to compromise, then it's okay...

Androids will always be inferior to iPhones because Android simply can't ever get good because of mf JAVA and ART optimizations which are aggressive af yet still don't do much.
