yungfishstick, 12 Jul 2023China really is lucky when it comes to their foldable phone... moreIn the USA or in the EU they have to pay royalties, so price always goes much higher. And for such price... who would care when there is Samsung?

well done Honor, great specs, even has stylus support for front screen, hopefully samsung can finally a learn a thing or two.
Looks like laggard Samsung better panic and innovate as Fold 5 hardware and design specs looks like a dinosaur compared to this.
I hope more Chinese companies like OnePlus, Xiaomi and Honor will bring their folds globally and give samsung a good run, as they been lazy with little improvements since Fold3, other than chipset improvements which is Qualcomm's credit not themselves.

Very promising, especially considering its very slim form factor, and the new battery technology. Though, would like to see real world reviews.
If its really sturdy enough, then it would ensure that the next few foldables are also much slimmer.

See? Now this is innovation. I do wish the wide lens had OIS, the ultrawide had PDAF and the telephoto was 50 MP and had 5× optical zoom instead, but it's still really good. Also, the use of silicon-carbon batteries is really nice to see, as is stylus support for both screens, the high ppi on the inner display compared to other foldables' inner displays, and of course that insane level of thinness to its depth.

Now that's impressive. Well done, Honor!
Fold 5 looks like a blast from the past next to it.

Manufacturers have stopped trying to make the thinnest normal phone.
Also, this is lighter than the iPhone 14 Pro Max

China really is lucky when it comes to their foldable phone options, especially when it comes to pricing. If this launched in the US at $1200 I wouldn't see a point in owning a traditional phone anymore
