      I had Fold 1 and 3 but with Fold 3 having so good screen on the top i just rarely opened it to use the main screen.

      Bought cheap Galaxy s21 Fe with same Snapdragon 888 and sold Fold 3 for profit and could not be happier: no fear of phone breaking, much lighter, screen is more usable than Fold 3 top screen which is narrow.

      I am now waiting for rollable phones for upgrade.

        I remember when the first fold came out with all its problems, and I figured I would hold out until the kinks were fixed and the tech has matured, and while the tech has certainly matured and the market is growing, the fold still feels old and tired, especially next to some of the other foldables.
        The only difference is that most of those are exclusives to china or have severe limitations on software AKA Hauwei.

        It is a shame because the Huawei foldable devicesc have been leaps and bounds further ahead then Samsung, and if not for the silly American made up sanction, they would be crushing Samsung and most likely be the worlds leading smartphone seller (even if apple does generate the most money)
        I will no doubt be skipping this generation as well, its just a stale small incremental update, on the same level as apple.

It is a double edge sword and consumers might respond by not buying the new devices. I am sure Samsung will throw in very attractive free gifts and trade in rebates to sweeten the deal.

                        Samsung should give better hardware to reflect the price hike. If Samsung can give bigger battery for the two, that'd be great news.
