1) Make it have a 7.5 mm thickness when opened and 15.3 mm thickness when closed.
2) Give it a 5000 mAh battery by using both silicon-carbon batteries and stacked battery tech. The combined extra energy density is almost 20%, so it could be done while using almost no extra space.
3)The main screen should be 6.70" and 3200×1440 in a 20:9 aspect ratio. There should be balanced bezels.
4)The outer screen should 3.50" and 1440×1440 in a 1:1 aspect ratio. There should be balanced bezels.
5)There should be a 1/1.56"-type 50 MP wide, a 1/2.0"-type 50 MP ultrawide and a 1/2.0"-type 50 MP telephoto with 5× zoom.
6)There should be an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint reader.
7)It should use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM
8)It should have 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage.
9)There should be a 1/2.74"-type 12 MP selfie camera.
10)There should be an IP68 rating.
11)As much of the metal components, such as the hinge and the frame, should use titanium alloy.
12)There should be 5 years of OS and security updates.
13)Both displays should be LTPO AMOLED displays, and should have a 1-120 Hz adaptive sync rate, a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 480 Hz touch sampling rate and a 3840 Hz PWM dimming rate. Both of them should also have Always-On Display.

The Razr was both thinner and shorter when folder
I can see the need myself for foldable going bigger but "pocket size"
However the flip phone not, you have not decrease the volume just made it shorter and thicker
For me if is just a point to make, and not an absolute, I appreciate each to their own and some see this as great
It is very unlikely that the only phone I desired was a flip but if it was I would get the flip.
In order the current format I like, I would then opt for a foldable, however my phone usage is as such there is little offers to warrant the extra cost. Following that as mentioned flip

Foldables is still just a gimmick & waste of money as it costs like a new phone just for screen replacement. So it's best for them to wait it out for a few more years when it becomes cheaper & reasonably priced or more importantly more durable.
