The 1380 is only paired with the snapdragon 778g

They could rebrand it as Exynos 1390 and that's all. Exynos 1390 (on par with 865) in the S9 FE+ and since that chip is good with that size, why not overclock the 1380 and call it the 1385?

But considering Samsung usually included the keyboard and S-pen on launch, it’s a decent trade off for the price. Of course, Samsung also need something to upsell people to consider the higher end S tablets

Anonymous, 14 Jul 2023its depends on user preference, not enough performance peop... moreI have been using it for one and a half year so when I got them the S8 hadn't released yet and they didn't sell higher RAM variant in my country. I argee that the memory was the bottleneck for this tablet to run smoothly and will go worse when face unlock feature turn on. I think 778G is competent for normal usage but Samsung is downgrading their Tab FE lineup by using Exynos 1380 which is worse than 778G will lure potential consumers away.

Exynos 1380 is too underpowered. They should at least ship the devices with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2.
But that Exynos Fanboy 'Razor' (if you know what I'm talking about) would defend Exynos and say this is good.

Exynos 1380? Well it's clearly an improvement compared to the Cellular model of S7 FE which comes with 750G. But it's not really an improvement compared to the Wi-Fi model that comes with 778G. Maybe an upgrade is just worth it if you use the cellular model. Otherwise, it's better if you wait for another year, except there's some another improvement that really makes you interested to upgrade. Like, OLED panel maybe? Oh wait I forgot that this is Samsung, so I'm sure they won't give OLED to this tablet, unless they want to raise the price as high as possible.
