I don't really need a good camera for my work device. But it's good to hear that they are proactive with software updates and fixing issues. Been a while since I've had an Android so very excited!

Every single update on Phone 1 did such a tremendous job at camera improvements and bug fixes in general (especially battery optimization) that when I check this changelog, all I can say is that you will probably be happy with it.

A little tip: if you don't want to wait for a new update to be pushed on your phone - head over to xda and update it manually (nothing has a dialer code that enters the update manager, where you can easily install the update you transferred to your phone). No hassle, really easy to do :)

Honestly I was a bit disappointed with the output of the camera so I hope this and future updates address it. It's the only bad part of this phone though. Yes it's a little overpriced when only considering the specs but I really like the Nothing 2. Great device.

Even low mid rangers or quite old and cheap flagship smartphones do a great job at good light conditions.

Ultrawide camera shots naturally have fringing on the edges. Apple, Samsung use fringe correction whereas others don't.

Nothing Phone 2 camera performance isn't anywhere near as bad as you and others are making out. The main camera takes good photos in normal during the day conditions.

Though in certain areas it could be improved - better artificial portrait bokah, improved low light nighttime shots, colour needing dialled down slightly, more detail retrieval etc.

Will Nothing improve these by future software updates. Maybe maybe not.

"I am getting same vibes with nothing as I had with OnePlus 1. They seem to be hiding something. Maybe BBK is still involved in nothing"

You flat out said Nothing is hiding something and BBK is maybe involved 😂 which is untrue, as BBK don't have any shares or involvement in Nothing that is fact👍🏾

Wrong again fella, OnePlus was founded by Pete Lau and Carl Pei. No one with half a brain thought OnePlus was a independent company without any major investment. Pete denied Oppo Mobile was a major invester and clarifyed it was Oppo Electronics (another subsidiary of BBK) which used to make Audio and home cinema products that was the major investor.

In any case us with half a brain knew BBK were behind OnePlus. I was one of the earliest forum members plus one of the first OnePlus forum moderaters. We all knew BBK were the ones pulling the money strings behind doors!

Ps. I never said it wasn't because of Carl's success at OnePlus that he managed to get investors for Nothing. I said BBK have no involvement or shares in Nothing which is fact.
