Apple Watch Ultra 2 to have 3D printed parts, coming later this year

Apple will expand 3D printing to the production of other devices if it all goes well with the Watch Ultra.

Is someone going to buy the production line or the actual product?
If there is no relevant product-specific news, let us make some noise about production process, and pretend Apple is innovative.

        I got this identic smartwatch, but not from apple, my brother gave me.
        It has sport, blood and other sensors, bt with phone, so first time i thought i never wear thing like that on my hand, but later feels interesting, and then people watching me, not bad!

                      if you dont know, titanium price higher than gold

                      so it be so much pricey

                        3D printing will never work better than other methods for mass production. I don't know why everyone is hyping so much about 3D printing. 3D printing is great for design and prototyping, because you don't have to make ultra expensive injection moulds just to test something, but when you have to make 300 million parts of the same type, there is just NO WAY 3D printing would ever be considered or be better. Unless it's a part that has complexity not possible with injection moulding, but then it might be cheaper to redesign the part to be of different shape instead...

                          Hope Garmin with Epix and Vivo series go more "smart" will add support and multimedia application eg WhatsApp and other things like LTE version. Let people choose to buy one with LTE or without.

                            Interesting, aren't some parts of the new honor v2 3d printed titanium?

                              Hope in the future we get to 3D print our own phones, choose the specs, and get it made the same day. Kind of like a custom-built PC and no prebuilt phones!!!
