George399, 17 Jul 2023You can notice all the paid marketing for Nothing when you ... moreIt depends on what features of the product you care about I was counting on system customization and fast charging got product with only half of my expectations in the case of OnePlus, I would have the same problem, especially since the OnePlus overlay itself is very poor.
So you see, if you're just interested in raw power, the OnePlus 11 is perfect for you just like not everyone wants to have the fastest car and prefers to have additional options as standard, which does not make the product worse just for someone else

iPhone 11 looks like an old iPhone that will be trending in the next few months. iPhone X and XR are already down.

Bodygard, 16 Jul 2023The flagships in the top10's continue to be S23 Ultra ... moreI'd only consider a Xiaomi or OnePlus if I was going to flash a custom ROM on it. As it happens, nearly every phone from these companies is a 6.67" brick, so that rules that out for me. I think the only appeal is for gamers who want the best specs for the lowest price, so they go for a Poco. The average user would do better going for the Galaxy A54 or S21 FE, or a Pixel 7a.

Bodygard, 16 Jul 2023The flagships in the top10's continue to be S23 Ultra ... moreI agree with everything except the app and reinstalling Chinese sellers have been deleting the Chinese apps for a long time and setting the English version of the system for buyers from the west.
The biggest problem is lying in the technical specification, for example, Xiaomi 13 ultra on the manufacturer's website says that it does not support the B20 band, which is very popular in Europe, but the intermediaries claim it have it.
This is the most popular band in my country and you would be very disappointed if you bought it.
This is just one example, there are many more I write it as a warning if you decide to buy, always check the specification in different places

So to constantly sum up the top 10 trending, its mostly taken up by the most pushed company on this planet/website, easily 70% of all news on this site is about samsung and every little thing they do including every single update (no other company gets this). Nothing 2 is because again nothing as a company so insanely pushed/hyped. Always an iphone coz lets be honest, only phone basically bought in some markets.
Also doesnt mean people actually care about these phones, i bet atleast half the views on a phone is people just curious of the specs, not that they actually care about the device (might be comparing to a phone they like).
Top 10 needs dropping and it did about 2 years ago when it just became a serious monopoly of samsung and apple. Poor news article.

The flagships in the top10's continue to be S23 Ultra and iPhone 14 Pro/Max. And for good reason. Reasons why (for most people, average buyers) buying a "chinese" flagship is a bad move:
1 - Nowadays they're asking the same prices as Samsung and Apple and some even more
2 - You might find some available in Europe but others only importing from China or other countries
3 - When you import, you only get 1/2 years warranty max instead of 3 years in Europe.
4 - Software support is lacking, takes more time than Samsung/Apple and when it comes, have bugs and you don't have easy accessible forums to complain to the brand about it. You have to go on chinese forums sometimes to get info etc
5 - Resale value will be very low. Think about it, in the used smartphone market, who will give you 700-800 for a chinese flagship you bought for 1200 some months ago? No one.
6 - Warranty support is very problematic because it'll take a lot of time, some of those brands yet don't repair in Europe.
7 - There are very few 3rd party accessories
8 - Some of those flagships come with a lot of 3rd party apps pre installed and some in chinese. You'll either know how to uninstall them, connect to a pc, adb etc or live with those apps.
See why the average consumer will most of the time prefer "safe" brands?
