Pointless when phones do not have lenses capable of dealing with high resolution.

He think phones lenses are on pair with lenses on real cameras.
When these lenses do not cost $10.

Periscope is 40MP 1/1.7" cropped to 12MP 1/3.5" .. imx650 was used by huawei before , 30 series.

13 ultra got smaller sensors besides main camera, compared to some going to 1/1.7" or even past 12 series got 1/2". They could bring some bigger ones. Main camera will be upgraded too of course.
It's not a samsung, releasing the same sensor again and again.
Well, its still better than likes of sony, using small sensors small resolution...
Even xiaomi 11 ultra is more interesting, since the hw is good for raw shooting, be it wideness reach, resolution or lens. Past performances of other brands(like those mentioned before) are just antique.

I think problem is people know Xiaomi for their budget phones and all the bugs they know to have, so they think their higher end offerings are the same, when reality isnt that.

I really hope they bring the base 14 series to India. Like the 12 and 13, the base compact phones are among the best compact, full feature phones. Faster charging battery, denser too. Compact, good cameras and Xiaomi is still the brand which allows unlocking of their phones! What's more, they actually have a good community which offers good rims and such! Yeah, I am not a fan of their OS skin but it's not bad either. Some really good additional features and LET'S BE HONEST, we all open phone, go to an app and lock the screen.
And Xiaomi has really good and wide spread service centres in India too.
It might not be for everyone, but it's better phone for me a tiny one.

Thus begin the Xiaomi leaks. The sensor in question might be the IMX 707 found with the Xiaomi 12 Pro. I hope the other 2 sensor is also upgraded. I'd like the zoom on the 13 Pro be in the 14 for macro photography.

It was a good move!They are already realizing that people hate those tiles with a curved panel that breaks when in contact with the floor, all the panels that I have seen broken begin at the corner of the edge... Samsung is missing now that it was who introduced this trend disgusting

Well, nice approach: i like when companies make their flagships as the latest word of technology. And it sells good - take galaxy for example, or asus zenfone. People like to think they have the best and latest modern model.
I wonder why realme omits such an cause to present their flagship phone, like all-in-one-best-possible.
But personally i would prefer smth on Top Dimensity series, without that over_over_priced sd. Camera is likely to be very good though.
