            the 8 pro will be my next phone probably since i don't want to wait anymore for sony pro II or for a foldable with good cameras , the camera upgrade is consistent and i hope will ofer the pixel a solid hw platform for future inovation!

                We both had different bad experiences with charging, your fast charging phone had a bloated battery and my slow charging phones became unusable after 1 year, or less than that.

                I understand your experience and as I said it before I would never use a fast charging phone again if I was you. So why can't you understand mine?

                I simply don't feel safe with slow charging just like you don't with fast charging. Why is only your opinion acceptable to you?

                            I work at a phone accessory store, we sell cases, earphones and put on screen protectors and such..

                            I have seen many Samsung and Huawei phones with swollen batteries, but I haven't seen any phone with a swollen battery that supported more than 22.5W charging speeds.

                              Based on my experience after using a China Phone with super duper fast charging not exploded but its battery swollen and became a safety hazard and got rid of it without thinking further.

                              You cannot have iPhone + Android so do China Phone + Pixel experience. If your only priority is Rocket speed charging, get any China Phone so that you can play with recharge, drain and repeat game. For pixel experience you need to deal with 27W so do iPhone with its 23w.

                                How would fast charging risk my phone to explode in my pocket? No way anyone is charging their phone while it's in their pocket. The only time a phone would explode is if it's battery starts to be swollen, which you could clearly see, thus wouldn't put it in your pocket, phones with slow charging can also have swollen batteries and in fact they often do.

                                Yes, and? All that means is phones with slow charging also heat up, that's how charging works there is nothing crazy or scary about this.

                                    I'm not working from home, but I wouldn't want to use my phone while it's charging.

                                    I understand why you don't like fast charging, but just please try to understand the other end of the situation as well and that people have different needs. I don't trust slow charging, whether it be during the day or through the night, but if I were you, I wouldn't trust super fast charging either.

                                      Samsung S23 for example is limited to 25w and it charges from 0-57% in 30 mins so realistically speaking if when ones device charge is somewhere near 20% or so, charging it to 100% will only take around 45 mins max which is easily manageable while you are doing something else like for example while in washroom, food etc etc before starting for the days work.
