Not even the Prores Raw of i... moreActually MotionCam App allows a phone to shoot in RAW. 10-bit mostly, since most smartphone sensors only have 10-bit ADC. RAW files are actually Pretty Massive. But one can work them a lot more in post. Plus one can convert them into some very light ProRes codecs like ProRes LT. ProRes RAW is a bit of a scam. Its mostly because of the Illegal Patent given to RED, where it is the sole company allowed to shoot compressed RAW. So everyone else either shoots non compressed RAW or some version of 10-bit. Don't confused Log with RAW. One can have 8-bit log too.

        Mobile SoCs support RAW, its the sensors that are the limiting factor. Also RAW needs less processing but much larger space.

              For example the ZTE Nubia Z50 Ultra's starting price was CNY 3,990 , which translates to roughly 500 eur, or 558 usd.

              Said phone currently starts at 597 eur, or 665 usd on Tradingshenzen with 1 year of warranty.

              Of course there won't be any parts for it in your country, if it's an imported phone, fairly sure that's obvious to anyone who imports their phone.

                        Once this phone reaches western markets (if ever) it'll cost twice that.
                        Just like Xiaomi 13 ultra, announced at a relatively cheap, converted EUR795, just to finally be available months later at an official, EUR1499.

                        I'm so tired of people like you praising chineses devices because their CNY to USD MSRP is a bargain, even though it's meaningless.

                        For sure, Z50S would be an amazing deal at USD460, but there's just no way to get one at this price. Cheapest import would be 650-700, and that's without any warranty, customer service or parts where you live.

                        So please, PLEASE stop acting like CNY -> USD prices are bargains of the century.
                        Whatever the phone retails for in china is useless.

                              ZTE showing how storage prices can be done reasonably. 300CNY between 256GB and 1TB. This is $41.50, a reasonable 28% markup. Some actual SSDs have a larger price gap between these two points.

                              Also fantastic starting price, even factoring in that these are Chinese prices.
