i had a phone with super clear lcd the fact is it hurted my eyes every time i use more than 5 minutes. I dont know about if the same thing happens to you or not. Now i am using g.nexus with hd amoled and it is not hurting my eyes. And wanna stay with amoleds. Maybe little bigger screen than 4.65"

For me tho, and for some people like myself, who set the phone's screen to be turned on all the time while charging, any AMOLED will be horribly burned in in just a matter of weeks. Try doing that yourself and see what happens.
Anyhow, with the exception of S4 (because of its diff color modes), AMOLEDs have this bluish tint, tho this boils down to just a matter of personal preference.
I'm on hTc one's super LCD2 btw.

I really reccomend the LCD crowd to try using AMOLED. You'll never want to look at LCDs ever again. You can compare specs all you want, realize what infinite contrast and any color saturation possible is achievable because of lack of background lightning, but holding it in your hand and actually looking at it is a totally different experience. You will NOT want to look at LCD anymore.

Now that all screens surpassed current iPhones, Apple is trying to keep up with technologies and competition. And when Apple updates the hardware, iSheeps start a new trend saying the 5 rows is much better than a bigger screen. (too big) What happens if Apple comes out with 4.5" screen? Do you still say the same thing? Screen estate is more productive.

The iPhone lights up the dark much more than AMOLED. With a SGS4 you would be bumping into things while I navigate my way easily :)

The SGS4 screen colours are fake, and even with the settings, cannot match the iPhones.
It's a damn nice screen but AMOLED will never overtake LCD. LCD is advancing just as fast.

There is no 'Great reason to upgrade', as this is an incremental update from the SGS3.
Your eyes are not going to explode in delight when you look from the SGS3 screen to the 4, and all of those nice little features (of questionable everyday usage) will be ported over by XDA.
Save you money SGS3 owners, and wait for next year. Perhaps we'll get some real innovation at last

Well one thing some people seem to fail to realize is that Samsung isn't choosing LCD for displays for a reason, and that is because Amoled is superior and looks better. Samsung only uses LCD's for lower end models.
