85 million @ $100 generates 8.5 Billion dollars
$ 8.500,000,000 not giving the customer what they want but demanding from the customer what they want, by structuring the supply
The response is complacency, acceptance rationalisation the sheer greed.
$8.5B extra not one iota effort in trying to reduce the price to customers, just the opposite

They increased prices so much last in Europe that a 2021 iPad Pro costs more now than it did brand new in 2021... Everything Apple increased absurdly, not only the iPhones. Prices are already absurdly high in Europe with an iPhone Pro Max 256GB costing 1679€ (1853 USD...). If they increase it even further I will not buy anything from them ever again. An S23 Ultra costs 950€ here. And loose the iPhone only in Social Network videos, so nothing that matters to me... Why should I pay double for the same or less?

Me like many others had enough with Apple all these years and this year jumped ship with the S23 lineup,or like others are saying, i voted with my wallet against Apple, until they wake up.
Obviously i am not in Apples target audience, which blindly buys anything Apple related no questions asked and are ignorant to technology.
You know those that have an Iphone 11 or 12 and think they have superior phone than S23 Ultra for example.
Or those that will buy day one 60hz iphone 15 day one just because its the new iphone.

I'm curious to wait and see how much this year's iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max will cost here in Malaysia. To give some context, the iPhone 14 Pro Max 256GB costs the same as the Sony Xperia 1 Mk5 256GB, while the iPhone 14 Pro 128GB is about $100 more expensive than the Sony Xperia 5 Mk4 256GB.

Anonymous, 24 Jul 2023Same here, except I’m using the latest version.I'm still on my Xs Max. haven't got a reason to upgrade yet but now since this iOS17 probably will be the final main OS upgrade, its time to upgrade the phone as well, for the next 5 years.

Apple's really raising prices for features we (probably) won't use. Who knows, they'd probably release iPhone 25 Pro Max at $15K.

So Apple increase the price for Pro and Pro Max because there won't be much unit for the vanilla and Plus model? I'm not sure if see more iPhone people buying the Pro or Pro Max over the vanilla and Plus model.
