Samsung found way to break into the market with Android, and all of you cant hate them because of that.Then you should hate Nokia also because they breaking on the market with WP, and they were on the edge of existence.It"s huge sucess when the company which was the third or fourth in the world becomes the largest producer of smartphones.

I left them after the N82.

Samsung is only popular cuz of Android. Without Google, Samsung would be low sellers, Nokia no. 1. Why? Because of lack of innovation, besides they've copied lots of Apple's inventions. And Nokia are the best innovators right now - PureView, wireless charging, Here, City Lens, and should I note their beautiful, colorful designs too. Samsung don't deserve being no. 1. Apple, HTC and especially Nokia deserve to be in front of Sammy.

No doubt samsung is number 1 and apple in 2. The others may have shipped millions, but the sales revenue are low. Take fot example Nokia, they are stated in this article to be number two in shipped handset but their sales profit is only 50m USD. Sony not on list but posted 250m USD sales profit in q1. Samsung posted 70billion. LG no show q

It's basically Samsung just grab the market when it was on it early stages and if even Samsung would leave Android and adopt Tizen which I doubt it will be doing sooner or later, there won't be much difference found with the change as people have already their belief at Samsung devices.
