I'm in China and have used their Chinese flagship series and they do have advertisements. If you don't care about the Chinese market why are you even here commenting on a phone that is launching in China. This is a phone launching for the Chinese market

Onanymaus, 27 Jul 2023If by "doesnt break" and "hassle free" ... moreSo many people care about software nowadays, which I find very debatable and very subjective 😅. In my opinion, you will get used to the software regardless of the brand. Personally, i care more about hardware, if it's powerful then that's all it matters. I don't care how the software looks lol. That's just my opinion. I find it weird to see people arguing and complaining because of the brand skin lol

Vasra, 27 Jul 2023People don't want "thinnest", they want some... moreIf by "doesnt break" and "hassle free" you are referring to Samsung Folds and Flips then I guess you must have not known how fragile all folding phones still are. It is common to come across Folds and Flips suffering from display failure. Extra care is still needed to keep the inner display from scratches.
Samsung is still the leader in software but they are stagnating in the innovation of their folding phones hardware.

Anonymous, 27 Jul 2023i never see ads on flagships xiaomi even on poco f5Their Chinese market flagships which run on Chinese software have lots of ads and this will likely be China only (I've never tried their global models). However, the vast majority of Chinese Android brands (e.g. Oppo, Vivo, Honor, Huawei) also have plenty of ads on their Chinese software so not much difference. Basically the only Android brands without ads within China are Nubia (and their parent ZTE) and Motorola

People don't want "thinnest", they want something that "doesn't break". They don't want "fifteen camers" they want "1-3 superior quality cameras".
And people don't want devices that are not supported with proper updates and stable OS variant. They want something that works, is hassle free and doesn't become end-of-life after 1.5 years.
Especially if you pay €/£/$1500-2500 for it.
