The issue is the modem that throttles the whole (already not so powerful) device down even more so it lags af when it gets hot (which is FAST). I need my phone to be able to record @ 4K as realibly as other flagships do - which is not possible due to overheating.

                  I truly don't understand why people put up with Apple's "features". I remember back when the iPhone 7 was released, where not only was the headphone jack removed, but the home button was no longer a button but one of these solid-state contraptions. And no matter what they claimed, it was unable to feel like a real button, no matter what haptic settings were used.

                      This would be the best chance for them to go portless.
                      It would be a huge marketing step as well.

                          I'll get a Pixel 8 (if the modem of the Tensor gets changed and it really outperforms SD 8 Gen 2) and then upgrade to the 16 Pro Max as 15 is way too little of an upgrade over the previous iphones (especially knowingly 16 will get a 300mm periscope which means even more zoom than any flagship out there)
