They ditched the AMOLED panel the pova 4 pro has for some light show? come on!
Tecno should've put in at least a D920 in it instead of the 6080 which is the renamed D810 and call it a real gaming phone, or even the D1080 the zero 5g has. Was hoping they'd keep the 6000Mah battery which the Pova series was known for, but they ditched that as well. Worse is they priced this aboved the Note 30 4g(g99) and 5g(d6080) series which has similar specs, with only the light show, battery, and charger differences. So it all goes down hill from here. The camon 20 pro 4g(g99) and 5g(D1300/8050) makes more sense.

Seems like there design team are actually passionate and still willing to experiment with designs
I appreciate them for that
Even if a design isn't particularly to my liking they are the only brand making such an effort
Literally every other brands design philosophy is only centered around the camera island shape ONLY!!

Helio G99 is still better GPU performance than the D6080. Can't believe why POVA 5 Pro shouldn't put D6100+ instead. I should skip this rn

Great, if all brands upgrade their design with more lines and leds, there will be less of phones looking like copycats.
I would add different front/body shape too, like why not something like long octagon,...
Before moving to folds or after, I hope for less clones.

It must cost a lot less then Redmi 12 5G with SD4 gen 2 with it's dimensity 700 rebrand to 6080
Just fancy paint job and led bling wont justify for it's price be higher
Where as Redmi 12 5G 4/128 is expected to be 120 euro and 8/256GB around 160 euro
