I Just Read, 02 Aug 2023Not to disagree and not to agree, we just need to go Back t... moreWell i agree with everything you say but to me making again removable batteries is impossible for said water and dust proofing.
You cant have IP 69K MIL-STD810G compliant or better phone with a removable battery.
I dont think its impossible but there are two or rather four questions which involves two or rather four separate answers.
          What EU wants???
And what is really possible with current tecnology???
What companies i mean phone manufactors and phone brands wants???
And whats trully really possible for them and whats brings more profit to them at less cost of BOM (Bill Of Materials used)

In other words in past with smaller phones and much less tech as now we have having removable batteries was possible but companies like Apple were making sealing phones since first phone they made some other companies like Vertu made sealed batteries in phones long time before Apple.

Once again unsealing and making removable batteries is a good thing but will involves more cons than pros. And in the end it will force customers to pay much more for their devices compared to prices of today. Even the most basic phones will start to cost twice as much as now.
Thats not evolution of current technoloy but revolution of companies making them.

Like with money. Once goverments, banks and uber rich people have not enough they print more. Its called inflation. Simple reason why thing which costed 100 years ago 1 penny now cost 1 dollar or euro and in next 100 years will cost 10 dollars or euros like with bread and milk for example. Flat or House, Cars etc.
You will print your money for as long as whole system does not fall.
Loan is increasing everywhere, Companies owns more ,gowernments even more and to prevent bancrupt you keep borrowing or printing for as long as is possible and they either allow you to do so or will forfeit your loans depends on your reputation. Good example were Greece in 2009. Country which lived on a very high heels for a very long time untill they came to a dead end unless Eu had no other choice but to save them. Since then all EU giving and supporitng European Union fond called EU Wall which which all countries can take money on projects which normalny they could not go because they havent had enough money for that.
Easy reason why Elon Musk developed, created and becomes father or founder of his own cryptocurrency which started in to exist since Satoshi Makamoto in 2008.

There is plenty to say about this but will take a lot of time and peope will not read because it will be too long but what was most important i told.
Oportunities creates possibilities and opens gates and doors where normally one find a dead end or a wall. Its simple as that.
We live and surived for too long to see price hikes pat 300 years since Rotschild family which created first Bank back in 18th centaury.
This world cant take much more. Soon the whole house made of deck of cards will stumble upon a single and simple strove and fall.
Then and only then the reality and real world will begin. Because even a dead end shpuld have a wall which you cannot detour or pass and no tools no creative mind no nothing would help you to pass troough.
Looking at loans of some countries i know we are close to that, really very close.

Also add to the excellent comment made by Vrvly re the EU as that is more relevant to this.

Previously removable batteries was the thing, like powertools having a fully charged spare.

Many fakes circulated damaged phones as a result etc etc.
Non removable batteries automatically not susceptible.

Then wee wanted waterproof phones, in addition to falling in the toilet bathroom, use in bath, bath.

Heat does have a factor on cells themselves in making the deterioration HAPPENS FASTER, but this deterioration is minor compared to the number of charge cycles (coming back to this)

Vrvly stated that EU want removable batteries by 2027, yes there most likely will be exceptions, water proofing and 80% battery health, I believe after 1000 cycles so 2.739726 years if charged once per day

As stated by others apps demand more power so heavy users have a great number of charging cycles

Fast charge or slow charge do not affect the battery it is the number of times you recharge, heat does not do the amount of 'damage' as one recharge cycle, a non heated phone battery health well be better than a heated phone.

Returning, your phone will heat up slow or fast if used whilst being charged.

Even without charging heat will be a factor, in hot countries.

Even Samsung with the Galaxy Note made a mistake in NOT allowing enough space for heat expansion, so phones exploded.

Batteries now are far superior to even authentic removable batteries were then, Fast Charge batteries are a result of people wanting to use their phones even more

I have both a fast charger and the "old" 5 watt charger.

At say 5 or 6 Am I slow charge my phone using the old USB micro usb cable with micro usb to type c adapter.
By the time I leave the house I am at 100%, I carry the fast charger just in case.

Finally if phones use high quality batteries premium phones eventually (Apple) use premium batteries?

If the EU regulations are stringent enough all well and good.

Type C cables must support a minimum of 60 Watts
This is a limiting factor so the company offering higher usually provide faster chargers in the box

There seem to be a 'split charge' in the charger above.

In order to benefit from the 100 Watt capability you must have a 100 Watt charger AND a type C capable of supplying it, if not you are limited to the Charger then cable as to the charge.

Specs are not awesome but it at least hi res sensors.
Maybe if there was some folding screen case for flagship phones, we would have what we want, folding and great cameras.
                Charging too.

If batteries are the same and can be changed by push/pull using some machine, it may be quite instant.
Another way would be using wireless transmission, maybe it wouldn't even need the battery, but 1W is current limit I think, so only good for iot.

I'm trying to hold on from making a decision until I know what each has to offer, but I do have to say I really like what V2 is offering.

I wouldnt have minded if N3/Open sticked to the aspect ratio that N2 had, but I'm fine with the "proper phone + 8" tablet" format too.

My smart phone habits havnt drastically changed over years, but I've definitely felt like even one year in of owning a phone, it's battery life is much worse than when it was new. This for 3 different brands of phones the last 6 years or so. But yeah, it can be about something else entirely.

Are we moving on from the Honor bandwagon? That may have been a few days longer than the Mate X3 bandwagon. Spec chasers can't sit still for a moment.

                          2. The battery in new phone are no getting worse. The user wants to use his cellphone more time, much more and in heavier apps. People use their cellphone much more than 7 years ago. There is a big difference in watching some pictures on Facebook than watching a lot of videos on TikTok or Instagram.

However, for example Toyota has limited fast charging on their electric car cos they offer an unusually long battery warranty. So they literally limited fast charging to twice a day to ensure the battery's longevity isnt hurt. Given, different kinda battery tech, but still.

Also, I dont know about yalls, but my smartphone battery lifes have definitely gotten worse faster the more modern the phone. This isnt necessarily about charging speeds though, but my last 3 phones or so I can probably tell already around a year of using that the battery aint what it used to be. This wasnt really the case so much with my older phones with slower charging. But again, probably different battery tech between the phones too.

Honestly i am very happy with my charging and it takes just few minutes to charge my device its really great.
No waiting for charge, no issues no nothing.
If your 5W charging phone depletes in half day for example you are screwed for rest of the day.
Mine takes just 15 minutes and is ready.
A time i spend in shower or make and eats quick breakfast and coffee.

Lastly all that damages the battery is not the fast charging but heat.
Since most of the heat remains in charger you are safe to use.
And honestly in said 15 minutes battery barrely heats p and is fuly charged compared to many else phones which remains on charger for several hours constantly keeps battery under heat and pressure.

I'm not sure if this is that good of a trend. Then again, I only charge over night personally so even like 5W is enough for me lol. I'm just worried about the longevity of the batteries when charging at these power levels.

But yeah I guess it's cool that just 15 mins will get you most of your battery back if you've had a usage heavy day.
