People complaining about the chipset choice should watch the reviews that are appearing on Youtube. Scores in many tests are quite good. The highest Antutu score was 797553.

D8050 is not enough for YOUR gaming experience? That's fine. Buy another that has D8100 or superior, or anything else with SD 8, because complaining won't magically change the chipset of this phone.

    Was waiting for it!!! And only gripe I have is I expected one 8mp cam to be a telephoto but eh. Sad, in that aspect apart from that this seems like a good great driver for a year and a half +, hope to know when they bring this to Nigeria

          Also this phone uses UFS 3.1 storage, as per the article, so it'll have no issues with emulation.

          The only saving grace for this phone are it's niche features like the card slot and the headphone jack...

            This is simply beautiful. Keep up the good works, infinix! Ensure at least a 2 year android upgrade is given to this masterpiece to make it future proof.

              Saw the review on YouTube. It's quite decent gaming phone for people on budget. It struggle a bit with Gensin on max graphics settings. You can get a bit lag. Remember, this on max graphics settings. If you tone it down, you will get a good experience. The Android is good and they keep they words. No, stupid unwanted apps and ads. You still get some apps like gaming mode and so on. But it still minimal compared to others phone out there that load of crapware / bloatware that can't be removed unless you root your phone. Overall, I give this phone 4 out 5 for budget gaming phone.

                    Also the fact that only uses UFS 2.2 is a big letdown for emulators.

                        The D8050 supports 4k video recording, so it's an outright middle finger to consumers from Infinix for capping it at 2k here

                          If they really wanted to market this as a "gaming phone", then Snapdragon is the way to go...

                          Mediatek isn't a good option for gaming. I mean sure, Dimensity 8050 is a good chip, but it has a lot of thermal, stability and efficiency issues as seen in the Moto Edge 40.

                          A Snapdragon 782G or the Snapdragon 870, depending on the cost, would have been a much better fit for a "gaming phone"...

                          Other than that, this has all the niche features like the Micro SD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack...

                          Overall a good phone, let down by the chipset choice, considering that this is a "gaming phone" lol 😂

                            Also nobody actually need software updates other then security updates as the best version of android on any phone is what the phone was released with as there for it was optimized for that models hardware the best.

                            While these brands give you a really good hardware for budget prices that none of the super lux brands like Apple, Samsung, Sony, Pixel and HMD can give you. Yeah you get your long term of software update but for that you pay like half of the phone price too.

                            Only thing you can compare with 300 euro phone to a 1000 euro phone is the software support while on hardware part they are close to same. Ok the 1000 euro phones have way better cameras but how much people are there that really need the best camera on the market on there phones ? Even these 100 euro phones in modern day are making good enough pictures to satisfy majority of people

                              There are many phones with pricetag of 400-600 and arent this good.
                              Like Samsung A34 or A54, Sony Xperia 10 V, Xiaomi 13 lite and many else phones.
                              Well i am impressed.
