Anonymous, 07 Aug 2023You can't even set your own custom live wallpapers on ... moreI have never used live wallpaper before, but I tried now just to see and that was just as easy as changing any normal wallpaper or lockscreen.
How to set a custom live wallpaper and/or lockscreen on MIUI:
- Go to the Gallery app
- Locate the desired video file
- Select Use as video background (or wallpaper or similar - my system is in Nowegian).
Then you're asked if you want it as your phone's live wallpaper, lockscreen or both. Make your choice and done.
What are you even on about when it comes to notifications? The themes, which offer very detailed customization, does not affect notifications. They can change the colors, fonts, icons etc. Notifications works just as they should and as they do on any other device. Of course, you can disable certain apps from showing notifications. Just like on any other android phone running a recent android version.
Android auto is Android auto. It's not Xiaomi that makes it any more than the Google play store, Google maps or google photos. I have, and use, android auto and it just works. Just as it should.

Nowadays the only people that buy Xiaomi phones are those that have never bought one before or those that are weird fanboys that probably have to jump through hoops to completely change the software to actually have an okay experience.

gotta hate what Xiaomi is doing. I have the mi 10 ultra. I'm in europe and had to imporit it. good thing is that even as of last month I still got an eu rom update from another source. the fold series isn't getting any.
I really want that phone but i will have hard time with upgrades and support. Xiaomi stop fucking up.

No charging bricks is simple, people could use old charger or buy new one. But phone with lacl of software support and optimization ? Good luck.

xiaomi electronics' worst managed company is the xiaomi smartphones. they simply cannot compete with their flagship devices due to terrible pricing strategy. there are 200 more countries outside China. what an ignored opportunity. their smart home appliances, scooters and other stuff is sold everywhere!
