                I've seen people saying they expect this chip to be better than the Dimensity 900. I laugh out loud. This is basically the same old SD 4 Gen 1 on a different process. Geekbench benchmarks for the Redmi 12R confirm it.

                  Interested on how the SD4G2 handles sustained performance and efficiency, given it is a Samsung node. On paper it offers plenty of performance for the price segment, though the GPU performance is still unknown (hope it is better than SD4G1/SD695)

                    These single core and multi core benchmark scores dont really paint you the full picture as these are in the 4 digits that look really close to each other. Like middle class phones single core benchmark score can be on par or very close to what the latest flagship chip have on single core and same with the multi core

                    Where on Antutu you get this middle class phones that have like 400k to 700k scores and on flagship it's like 700k to 1.3 million in score.

                    Well Antutu is also weird cause with there newer version the benchmark score is higher then there older version. For example Poco F5 with SD 7+ gen 2 with Antutu v9 you have it around 930k but with Antutu v10 it's a bit over 1 million

                    So depending on what version of Antutu the score is made. For example this SD 4 Gen 2 is 435k or for Redmi 12 5G it's 454312 with Antutu v9.

                    Unite4buy shows 544373 for SD 4 Gen 2 score that is like 1000 points more then SD 860
                    But then again i dont know what version of Antutu that Unite4buy site is using and
                    While for Xiaomi Redmi Note 12R shows 526k and something 456k in antutu v9

                          If they price this right, its sure this would sell like hotcakes!
