rizki1, 04 Aug 2023I have a serious question and just answer honestly for S20 ... moreI have this S20FE 4G phone for nearly 2 years now, the Snapdragon Version and it still runs smooth and fast as 2 years ago. It's very stable. Monthly updates without any bugs. It will stay on Android 13 now and receive security updates until October 2024. Battery is still fine. Great 120 Hz display.

I will not get anymore S20 after the very good S20FE. The S20FE have a massive battery, almost never heats up, have a microSD card, 5G, decent camera. Unfortunately, the S21FE and others removed the microSD card slot.

rizki1, 04 Aug 2023I have a serious question and just answer honestly for S20 ... moreAbsolutely, I've got the 8gb ram 256mb rom , paid £500 2.5 years ago, the cameras are very decent (at around galaxy S20+ performance ) slightly improved since the start even, updates come very fast , the snappiness and fluidity got even better especially after the 5.0 UI update, the 865 soc still handles a lot without a cinch ( but I don't use to play games like Fortnite and genshin ) and what's more is that not having a curved screen and having a plastic back ( which I now love) , I lost the count of the times it fell on the floor without cracking anything , and I use just a thin clear (now yellowed) tpu case and a screen protector , it has just small flat indentation in the corner of it's aluminium frame after falling on a two flight marble stairs .
Battery still gives me around 6hours of screen time.
Overall I'm quite satisfied with the phone and ihmo the only FE phone worth of it's name.

rizki1, 04 Aug 2023I have a serious question and just answer honestly for S20 ... moreI don't know where you are from, but I highly recommend you to get the 5G version that comes with Snapdragon 865. I got the 256GM/8GB RAM and I am very satisfied with it. The only drawbacks that I've noticed are the missing 3.5mm jack and Gorilla glass 3 (scratches very easily).

Pumpino, 04 Aug 2023Samsung makes some interesting decisions about which models... moreI'd just like to point out that no, this is actually quite logical - you have different teams working on software updates for the different devices (maybe 1 team covers a few models, another a few others...I don't know, not the point, there's more than 1 team for sure) - why would you intentionally hold off on releasing something because someone else needs more time for something else? - if you have a ready update, just push it to users, that's a good business strategy, it's not like the others aren't going to get in in a week or two anyway.

rizki1, 04 Aug 2023I have a serious question and just answer honestly for S20 ... moreI have it, it still works perfectly. Updates are coming in a regular way, it had 3 major updates. Probably won't receive Android 14. Battery after 2,5 years still perfect, performance for the present time adequate, but not futureproof. Next year it probably won't be able to handle more difficult tasks and games due to rising demands of apps.

Pumpino, 04 Aug 2023Samsung makes some interesting decisions about which models... moreNot exactly i would say. S23 will get Android 14 first and than the A54 and A34. And than S22.

I have a serious question and just answer honestly for S20 FE users. How after 3 years is this phone still good? Just want to know how Samsung takes care of this phone, considering this is a sub flagship.

In my place second hand of this phone is still quite expensive, it cost not far from A34 and almost A54 which is better in my opinion.

Samsung makes some interesting decisions about which models and regions receive updates first. You'd think flagships would receive updates first, but perhaps it's only major versions that follow a logical order.
