Nothing Phone (2) receives a new camera-focused update

      If you actually believe your untrue lies about OnePlus using software updates to produce pink green lines on the OnePlus 8. Then why would you continue to use Oneplus phones. And why would you now use a Oppo Find X6 Pro as its from the same company BBK 🤣

Fix some issues, deliberately introduce more breaks to be addressed in the next NP2 update. Wait for the next update until you're fed up with their phoney update policy of showing that they care about updating their Nothing regularly. 😄 Just ruining user experience. If you buy a phone & nothing works right away forget about improved overall system stability in their changelogs.

          Just updated to NothingOS 2.0.2, and I noticed a sharp decrease in overall speaker volume. The output itself seems more balanced, with more prominent bass(bass was really thin on release) but I'm having to max the volume for vocal content versus 60-70% previously.

          Also they said they reworked the typing haptics, but they really just reduced it by a lot so the motor isn't super noisy anymore. I kinda prefer the previous noisy but present haptics though.

          Any other NP(2) owners run into the same issues?

                  justasmile, 06 Aug 2023Probably cuz you didn't drop it straight on the screen.Well all phones regardless of the make can result in display defects if you drop it face down on the ground! Plenty of iPhones, Samsung, Pixel etc that have developed lines etc after owners have dropped them on the ground.

                  I have had various OnePlus phones even dropped the OnePlus 5 face down several times on the screen but with a tempered glass screen protector. Screen never developed any lines.

                          justasmile, 06 Aug 2023Those are just from models which were dropped thousands of times.I dropped my OnePlus 8 Pro (kevler case on and luckily both times landed on the kevler no physical damage to the phone) onto hard concrete ground a couple of times and didn't have any strange lines appearing on the screen afterwards!

                            A lot of updates are arriving for this second model yet the first version is all but forgotten by the company. Probably when Nothing (3) arrives then this version will suffer the same fate.

It is caused by defective display manufactured by Samsung. It is visible after software update because of heat. Update causes the phone to heat up which gives the display issue.

                                      My OnePlus 8 Pro I've had for 3 years still runs as smooth as when I first bought it. And no pink green lines after latest software update 👍🏾
