Samsung maybe tops with updates but gutting hardware features do not warrant the price difference of other brands.

DarlingYext, 07 Aug 2023".. they won't be much cheaper than non-FE tablet... moreIf they keep the 120 Hz OLED screen then you're essentially paying a $100 premium for it over the Pixel Tablet (if that's even available in your region), which is not such a bad deal for a media/note taking device. (You do lose the Pixel dock, but you gain a great stylus in return.) On the other hand, S7 FE was 60 Hz LCD (but base tier S7 was still LCD that generation too).

Just save yourself the trouble and get a Lenovo tablet for almost half the price. Many of them come with a stylus included.
