07 August 2023
Samsung says that this tablet is great for working outside with its new IP68 rating (vs. none for last year's Tab S8 Ultra).

This is good, but very expensive especially if you max out the RAM and ROM. The hesitation I have is running Android as an OS. Samsung should offer OS choices and as we all know Android is nothing less than a platform to track/follow/spy on end-users. I would strongly suggest having a linux distro onboard or a dual boot at least. Preference would be for Ubuntu 'touch' as an OS built with all the accessories and tools to maintain end user privacy. So, buy or bye?! BYE!

Look, you can buy the old S7 tablet and it'll work fine. You didn't need this one

the notch is still ugly asf

Could make tablet variants with same spec,
          5G Sim, btw 9inch to 11inch.

Anonymous, 07 Aug 2023such a huge tablet and no space to hide the tiny cameras in... moreThe Internet is such a huge source for information and people are still to lazy complaining instead of learning the physical properties of stuff.

And the Xperia Z tablet has IP57 rating 10 years ago.

But until any Android tablets could give me a great palm rejection comparable to Apple's iPad, I won't switch platform. The Android tablets' app ecosystem has been catching up and even surpassed Apple's in a few key areas, but their palm rejection left so much to be desired.

Is there a need to use the pen and tab underwater???
But it's a good thing to have water resistance of course.

If they're smart they'll take the NFL tablet sponsorship from Microsoft. Have the coaches use them in rain without that chonky weatherproof case all other brands needs.

thicker bezel without notch vs thinner bezel with notch, which better ? i think more people prefer thinner bezel as its sleeker

such a huge tablet and no space to hide the tiny cameras in the bezel? that notch is useless

Like anyone would use their tablets under water.
If i wanted IPXX resistant tablet would buy Oukitel RT2 much more battery much faster charging and much more durability for a 1/4 maybe a 1/5 of S9 price.

And when i would want absolute hype Lenovo extreme packs much more music for better price.

Finally i can work on my scripts underwater.

                                  Pretty cool
