Need to point out that this is not for Android. This is for Windows on ARM (and potentially ChromeOS on ARM as well).

They're more expensive because they take physically more space on each wafer so you get higher cost per core. But if Apple can do it I wonder why Qualcomm isn't...

          S23 ultra has bigger battery so of course that's the case. And we're not saying 8 gen 2 is a bad chip, it's great, but not as good as A16 even with two more cores. Adding more core won't help. A16 has more cache and is physically larger. No mobile application requires that many cores
