Anonymous, 14 Aug 2023wrong most of them are actually apps you'd want anyway... moreFor me, those apps are just bloat. Plus people don't complain much about pixels and other stock android apps having too little apps. Plus, "you'll need it anyways" is soo wrong, especially when you look at mid tier or budget samsung devices, do you really need the pre-installed glance lock screen ads?

Anonymous, 14 Aug 2023wrong most of them are actually apps you'd want anyway... moreAgreed! I use Samsung keyboard, notes, messenger- All these paired along with bixby really saves my time. I can share a note directly from Smessenger with just a single click, I agree that it may not be useful for everyone but for those who do use such apps, they have to try this.
What were the good apps that you were talking about excluding these?

AnonD-1068472, 13 Aug 2023Can you explain what you mean by this? I used to use Samboa... moreexactly he doesn't know what he is talking about, Samsung's notes and clipboard are the best, on notes for example say you have a long list of movies or shows written down, their note app has search feature where you can quickly type the name and see if you already wrote it, no such thing on google note pad and yep their clipboard doesn't even store copied words like Samsung's clipboard

I had to use it as my contact phone even if I got my J3 back in 2016 because my J3's cellular reception was trash.
Today it's my FM radio, my backup phone and my "iPod" too 😇

Those who are praising OneUI for being bloat-free are sooo wrong. The excessive amount of pre-installed apps on Samsung phones is the only reason I didn't pick s23. They have all samsung, Microsoft and Google apps pre-installed. Pixels also have some google bloat but it's nowhere near samsung.

Anonymous, 12 Aug 2023That your fault for not using Samsung keyboard as a default... morehow does that fix the huge privacy problem that i just presented???
keeping everything i copy in the clipboard, including passwords and other sensitive stuff without my consent, being unable to disable and even when using a 3rd party keyboard is a hugeeee privacy problem

Minu, 12 Aug 2023This is naturally the reason for me to buy a NokiaMy issue with H̶M̶D̶ *cough* Nokia is that they release a phone you are lucky to get 1 more major android release post launch and after that nothing at all. This is true of all PRC made phones, especially if it isn't the flagship. Samsung atleast releases atleast 2 and tops 3 updates for even their mid-range phones. I just can't stand their crappy takes on UIs. Samsung's UX dev team have no taste.

Minu, 12 Aug 2023Just flash a custom ROM with One UI 6 for your phone when i... moreThe burden of responsibility for ewaste reduction falls on the government, manufacturers and the ultrarich(and normal rich people). The average consumer simply buys what they can afford. Also I hope you put your money where your mouth is and still use an old nokia phone from the early 2000s in an effort to reduce ewaste.
