Instagram gets new optimized UI on Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series

The update is reportedly coming to older Z Fold series phones too but not on foldables from other brands for now.

Looks like a foldable-only update since I don't get that kind of UI when using Instagram on my LG V50 via WideMode. I do get foldable-like UI/UX on quite a lot of apps in WideMode, but not Instagram.

      Millions would come back to ig, if they made it love photographers again, like before tiktok happened!

        Whole point of Android is universal accessibility for application features accross all devices (on same version)
        So releasing one device only update is soo idiotic
        Like if it's for foldable then release it for all or don't end up whining when modders port you new features to other devices unofficially, this isn't IOS

                What we need next (soon, at most in a month or two's time) is an Instagram app that is optimised for all Android foldable phones and tablets as well as for Apple's iPads.

                  Time for Instagram to put Android first. Now PLEASE let us have HIGH QUALITY VIDEO on stories
