The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will be the thinnest horizontal foldable yet

Xiaomi has redesigned the hinge to make it smaller and more durable. Also, the company revealed that the phone will have two tele cameras.

It's durable enough for me, & I take it to the gym.
The only missing element is IP rating for dust, as I got a small scare when some sand got in, but it's holding on quite nicely otherwise.

        My main problem with Xiaomi is their software, I think they have the worst among the big brands in my opinion, I just can't stand it..my best being IOS, One Ui and Huawei & Honor and maybe Vivo..everything else is decent except Miui and the likes of Redmagic

            Haha...those numbers don't add up. At best it can barely beat the honor by a few hundredths. and technically be 9.8x rather than over 9.9 by a hair. The Honor numbers make more sense as 4.7 and 9.9 leave a tiny tolerance for not quite perfectly closing. Although I could see the MIX closing a bit tighter, but technically being a bit thicker open and ending up similar. But has to be over 9.8 flat based on the 4.93....haha.

              Panasonic is suing Xiaomi and oppo for patent violation.

                am I the only one who think Mix Fold 2 was a much better looking phone? this looks like Samsung's foldables.

                  Even though I do not really look for buying a foldable, this one I would buy. Just a masterpiece of tech with such a thin body. I love my 5.5mm tablet and would get Mix 3 for phone+tablet replacement

                    I’m guessing the thinness also applies to the poor software support since users complained about apps not working properly in the inner screen in the past iterations 👀

                        Somehow these super thin foldables do not inspire confidence. It's great that foldables are getting thinner, but they need to be independently verified and tested for durability and quality.
