Screen is mostly Samsung made. High quality.
Processor is snapdragon made.
Memory is from Samsung again.
Most things are from others.
Software is good too , I am using iqoo z5.
Camera and most of the things come from same place for everyone. So barely anything is self-made or low quality.
2 major updates are good enough.

Like xiaomi or realme. These were the reasons they failed last time.
I know they were successful with ad campaigns with Hollywood stars in Europe and middle east. But there BBK and xiaomi were never strong and honor/huawei grabbed good brand value. But that is not true with India. Very curious they would go about now since Seth got sucess with realme because of its aggressive pricing for a quality product. Can honor go that aggressive with pricing or on the other side with ads? Very curious.

How will this succeed I'm perplexed. Honor/huawei were always significantly overpriced like Vivo and oppo. But vivo and oppo targeted less knowledgeable, offline, selfie crowd. Is honor gonna target that crowd? But there cameras always underperformed compared to vivo, oppo and Samsung. Their photos were like oil painting after you click, I'm ok with beautification of oppo/vivo, but this is just plain bad beautification implementation.
They can't target oneplus/Samsung's software experience and brand value croud also because of obvious reason.
They have never been value brand like

And you get newer hardware after 2 years time gap.
3 years security update is common anyway.
And phones mostly start giving trouble after 3 years.

I've used honor 8 and honor view 10 . they were damn good phones. hope they will release a camera centric flagship with good software support.

And their prices don't match specifications at all.

Lower mid and even upper mid range is in terrible shape these days, newer phones in these price brackets are almost always worse than older phones.
