Bec... moreI think the user probably turned on all data collection options on his/her phone, thus the high amount of advs are poping up.
I use a samsung device and i don't get advs such often which annoys me.
Most advs are on youtube app i found but not more than 2 on one single video, while scrolling advs are there like buy 2BHK flat etc. but those don't bother me.
I don't know much about the youtube algorithm but the youtube app always offer me such stupid advs like buy 2BHK, 3BHK flat on prime location while scrolling.
While watching video i get various commercials like buy 2 KFC etc.
Try using DNS ADGUARD, do this -
Go to -
SETTINGS>CONNECTION>MORE CONNECTION SETTINGS>PRIVATE DNS> INSERT dns.adguard.com IN BLANK SPACE.
After that do this -
GO to -
CHROME>SETTINGS>PRIVACY AND SECURITY>USE SECURE DNS>TURN IT ON TO AUTOMATIC or PUT dns.adguard.com IN BLANK SPACE.
If you want to read more about the T&C of DNS ADGUARD then search google, visit their website and read them.
DNS ADGUARD blocks every advs including those stupid ones which can be viewed with family.
I would suggest to not use DNS ADGUARD while using banking apps as DNS ADGUARD is free service and they might compromise security so avoid using banking apps while blocking advs which i do.

I don't get more than 2 advs on any youtube video and those also give me skip video option after 5 seconds of adv watch time in free version not the paid one.
I have blocked almost all options which collects data and uses them to give adv recomendation.
Try blocking all data collection options of google if you use android.
Then i think you will get less advs.

Well, Google is trying do what?! Stock YouTube are all about ADS now.
One long video like 15+ minuts have at least 4 to 6 ADS from the begining to the end. Whos fault? Google...even tho other Google apps dont have ADS at all (until now).

Because I NEVER have ads in my xiaomi.
My Gmail apps, Goodle maps doesn't have adds
My banking apps doesn't have ads
My duckduckgo browser also don't have ads

Those pop-up ads are annoying. This is the reason I buy phones that allows bootloader unlocking & root to block these ads completely. And I don't see myself buying a phone that blocks bootloader unlocking like Asus, OnePlus now, Samsung, Oppo, Vivo, Realme, Xiaomi you have to beg, Moto unpredictable & Hauwei. Only Google Pixels & Nothing phones only for all my future phones.

notafanboy, 13 Aug 2023Maybe your ad blocker just sucks. User error most likely.They've been breaking apps like revanced and pluginslike ublock recently though they managed to get patched by the devs.
You probably didn't chance upon them as they were also limited to a certain number of people. I never did as well but I will not dismiss the ones that actually saw ads, stopping Newpipe at 1:09 mark, and being nagged to get YT Premium/remove adblock on Revanced/Brave browser.
They will not stop there, however.

But they prolly know how the masses behave so they have the nerve to do these things.

Google is trying to appear as some sort of hero against ads, but it's themselves who promoted and popularized ads in software and websites and still does. There was a time when there was little to no ads in any software or website but google is the one who took it beyong leaps and bounds and everyone followed.
