justasmile, 15 Aug 2023Just like Apple, theyre digitally cropping the 50mp resolution.You mean just like many manufacturers do as in there is 3x optical zoom and 5x hybrid?? What's wrong with that?? They aren't hiding the fact that 5x isn't optical.

Jeez .. wasn't the s23 ultra released like yesterday ?? This is why Innovation is dead in the phone industry . They are always in a rush to bring out a new phone every year with minimal upgraded. Apple is even worse

So s24u will come with 8K screen, mft camera sensor and 1800 mah battery to run it all, even though battery specs says 4000+.

I had enough of low res 10mp stuff. Now there are rumors about 200mp tele cameras in magic6 and x100proplus.
Not to mention processing of a small part tend to have a better detail than processing of whole 200mp.
I do expect some real long tele improvement (no AR moon mode jokes), while 200mp short tele resolution will be great as it is or for hi res macro at 2x digital zoom.
Try to consider foldables after that, lol.
