I think Twitter was purchased just so they can shut it down. But they are unwilling to do it instantly it seems. Instead opting to do things to drive away users first, after which they can claim they shut it down because of lack of users or whatever.

The consequence is quite simple: Twitter or "X" deleted from all devices.

Let's focus on this nonsense instead of the damage they're back at doing, like it's 2014 all over, letting places like Saudi Arabia buy infinite amounts of clearly divisive ads made out to be "fan posts". All for the easy money to make up for terrible business decisions. Both Mush and Zuckerberg are hyper busy raking in that easy money at your democracy's expense.

But yeah, the click delay is the upsetting bit.

Is there even enough basis? Come on, a 5-second delay is being made such a big deal. Can't it just be a normal delay to experience in a rebranding process? Isn't that normal whenever a website or game goes live after an update or maintenance is done? Why do I not see any articles about the Facebook rebranding into Meta causing any issues? It could be that whoever claims this traffic stuff just wants to create controversy. Do you think Elon Musk would care? I'm sure he'd just laugh this all off.

It's a common practice over the net

You have to wait about 3 seconds until X button appears. Loading main site takes about 2 seconds. On my PC on Chrome it's instantly. If you want to know those are my PC specs: RTX 3070, i5-12600k, 16GB RAM and a 1Gbps internet.

So I don't think this is because of my PC especially that this doesn't happen on Chrome.

wonder if the Net neutrality law is applied in this context, probably not since it is isp only and not content delivery service, but should be applied to it anyway that's a disgusting practice.
