S10e fanboy here, I fell in love with the Zenfone 10 and have been waiting to see when it would be available in the U.S.... then I discovered they don't support the Verizon network 🙃 Thanks, ASUS.
I'm going to look at the S23, S23 FE, and S24 to see which one will be my next phone. At least my S10e is still doing well enough.

Wish Samsung made this sell like hotcakes sub 6 screen compact. Nice looking though what’s apps like on it do they have own messaging

I'm surprised this wasn't in the US already. I also agree the highest config looks like a much better deal than the middle one; the second $50 buys you a lot more than the first $50. Too bad red, blue, and white only come in the middle config.

How much for the phone without the "FREE" headphones and without the mandatory contract for 2-3 years ?
Only good thing about the ZF10 is that it has the 3.5mm jack.
I would take the OIS and telephoto camera over some space consuming gimbal stabilization.
Also as this wont have the bootloader it will only have 2 years of OS updates and for this high premium price the phone is expensive.
From Chinese phones you get 2 years of updates as normal cause it's cutting cost down on the phone but when they ask 800 euro for a phone then i expect long term updates like that be the main point to pay more for a phone just like all the other phones that give lond time updates cost more. Even budget hardware phones cost a lot cause of the OS update support.
Also Standard iphone is same size then this Asus is and in America the iphone is symbol status the rod extender and apple is like 58% of American market too as they hold monopoly

So given the competition, it's understandable. Now, if Sony could bring their 10 series to the US, that'd be great to have more midrange competition.

They do nothing that cant be done on the main sensor. Only good telephotos are those that do 5x or more

I have used this for a month (16/512/aurora green) and i feel everything is best except the camera, only good thing about the camera is the gimbal ois for videos and you can take handheld long exposure photos just like iphone and pixels (they do it differently though) but the photo/video quality is not that good

Is the Zenfone 10 going to be available in retail stores in the US? Any idea when?
Asking as it's not going to be sold in my country but would like to get it from the US.

$899 for 16/512 is great value compared to S23 and S23+. If you go for that configuration right now at the time of this writing, it's $799. It's an absolute no brainer, really.
