AnonD-71868, 04 May 2013Of course the majority of people bought Samsung smartphones... moreI wouldnt consider a $350 phone with crappy camera and battery ""high standard''The N4 is a good phone but its only real advantage over other phones is its direct vanilla updates from google..Have you been to XDA and read the looooong list of issues with the N4?

The hardware on N4 is on LG Optimus G too, and this phone is a phone that can still compete with Samsung Galaxy S4 and whatever phone you like with no problem. It runs smooth even with ICS, I mean when it had ICS, because it got JB now. It is the perfect phone now with JB. Trust me. Be more realistic in the future, stop blasting companies which you know nothing about. Enjoy your "inspired by nature" crappy plastic!

At the end of the day, it's only about user experience, a nice piece of hardware that will keep throughout the day. Not about the companies history, marketing, who stole the first crap etc. I will probably buy the nexus again only if it's no longer LG, just so disappointing hardware they put in N4 and it's expensive than S3 in most countries like mine so totally not worth it.

k, 04 May 2013Guys you need to stick with samsung flagships if you want t... moreHey friend, I own Nexus 4. It has the latest Android 4.2.2 and as smooth as iPhone5. My last phone was Galaxy S2.
The only "problem" may be the 8MP camera whereby the quality is not as good as S3 or iPhone5. Other than that, this is very capable device!
So what is the problem with your Nexus 4?

Of course the majority of people bought Samsung smartphones...they know how to sell their product by making their competitors look like as if they're no good, and people nowadays are very easily lied, because the majority doesn't know anything about these companies' history and they just believe Samsung started all this...I say to them: NOT EVEN CLOSE!!! And regarding LG's importance in this smartphone market...please, where do you think Samsung would have been if it wasn't LG to make so many patents and introduce new things on their phones? I know that now, everybody copies everybody, but a few years ago, when not so many manufacturers were making good phones, Samsung was the king in terms of stealing features from the company that started all this, LG. So please shut up with your comments towards LG's phones, I know that you can't stand the fact that you won't be able to buy a phone with these high standards, and as a result you insult them. You think that Google is that stupid to pick a brand that is no good for them? Please! They finally realised what a waste of time and money was the smartphone partnership with Samsung and finally picked the right brand. Lousy people! What can you say? This is the world we live in...

gj, 04 May 2013iphone5 is the best.. you wont regret buying it..Your iPhone is mid ranger overall, but flagship in price. When you put the android os on it, you think it will work flawlessly without lag? Don't think so :-(.

AnonD-53946, 04 May 2013Fake company Samsung? That means half of the world who uses... moreread it again .. i told "Optimus G PRO" (not optimus G)
optimus G won against S3
optimus G PRO won against note2
Optimus G2 (Bluetooth certification completed will launch in 1 month) will be uncomparable. S4 and HTC one are not major changes from nexus 4/S3/Optimus G/Xperia Z

I agree with the post below. See at the end of the day, a good hardware is what matters most, not the timely OS updates. I miss the great camera, music and screen quality of my last samsung. I'll keep my N4 until the galaxy model I want becomes available in my country. I'm so disappointed with N4.. you guys have been warned.

Ill stick with my Galaxy Nexus till Google decides to no longer update it like they did with my Nexus S..Its either Motorola/Samsung for me or GTFO!! Used the N4 for a few weeks and it really had no advantage over my Galaxy Nexus so i sold it to a friend..Worst battery and camera ever..LG = Lousy Gadget..Oh and for those asking for top notch specs on the Nexus-5 keep dreaming..Nexus phones have never been known to have the best specs..Thats why they're a bargain compared to other phones..Nexus only advantage is pronto vanilla updates directly from Google..

Guys you need to stick with samsung flagships if you want to keep your phone long-term, still the best choice. I have nexus 4 just bec everyone has samsung but I regret my decision. The best OS but a faulty hardware, not worth it. Do not buy LG. Go check the issues in the nexus forums, sadly I'm a victim.
