Well Blackberry is still hit in the Asian Market. If Blackberry can offer the apps same with Android/Iphone it will be much famous again. They need to work with the BB World. They need to buy license from Instagram, Path, Camera 360 and other apps that can be found in te Android Market and Apple Store to rise the competition again.

AnonD-83579, 03 May 2013The Caribbean is steadily moving away from the blackberry e... morethat's a fair comment...but people in the caribbean don't mind using old blackberry phones which the prices have gone down drastically...and iphones and windows phone have a small demand in the caribbean...iphone being the price...and windows phone having software almost no one knows about...if the dominance has to shift it would be to Android...but it's not gonna shift anytime soon...and that would give blackberry enough time to release this budget bb10 phone...

AnonD-107236, 03 May 2013um...fyi...the caribbean is Blackberry dominated...The Caribbean is steadily moving away from the blackberry era. I think by releasing the budget phone last, they have given their customers too much time to switch to Android, Iphone and Windows phone.

I use Blackberry.I got HTC One X+, Iphone 4S and Blackberry Z10 and Z10 is my favorite device. Faster than both Android and iOS.

This is what a great company is about. Listening to the customers and building what they want, not need. who pays for the product, sure as hell isnt the phone company or manufacturer. So why only make high-end flagships and not mid ranges or starter level phones. Not everyone can afford a $550+(USD) phone nor do they need it. I strongly hope RIM becomes a force to reckon with in the indusrty. Samsung listened and conquered.

AnonD-88399, 03 May 2013here's blackberry, the best selling 'smartphone' in Indones... moredont think they as popular as was. many of friends either have 2 phone by buying new iphone/android, or sell their blackberry and buy high end android/iphone. this trend is just getting stronger and stronger as you can see in many public place in jakarta more and more people using samsung, lg, iphone etc while now the trend is blackberry used by middle/low end people like students or low/middle paid worker. Because blackberry cant afford anymore the lifestyle of high class worker. Soon blackberry will lost the battle as well here in Indonesia

here's blackberry, the best selling 'smartphone' in Indonesia, especially at JAKARTA. but people in here using this device only for BBM (Blackberry Messenger)/other fancy chat app. make people smile through their screen they hold for some reason and busy with chatting communication they begin by themselves. and you know, blackberry magically give the impression of prestige to people who hold it, especially for youth generation. in here, blackberry devices can be easily as a cake to get because of the big supply and flooding demand. yes blackberry lead the Ecosystem. but the way the want is only for BBM/fancy chat app, no more!
