Huawei Mate 60 Pro debuts with three punch holes in the display

Huawei is suddenly selling it today in offline retail stores in Shenzhen, China, the news has sparked a buzz on social media in China.
I've already bought one, it won't display 4G or 5G but the salesman informed me that I can reach 5G by upgrading the OTA when the launch is over.
And the three punch holes on the display are adjustable and can be turned into an aura island like on the iPhone 14pro.
Also, the AnTuTu score shows 660,000, note that it's only 660,000 due to the unrecognizable GPU, the actual performance is roughly between the Snapdragon 888 and the 8 GEN 1

No big fuss because is just a refined mate 50 pro with a single tele photo compared to competition that has 3.5, 5 and even 10.

Huh... I guess the design did end up looking a lot better than I expected... on the back anyway. I guess they didn't bother to go through with the ivory white and just did plain white instead, and the other colors do look very nice.
Of course the elephant in the room is the three punch holes which... I mean, I'll be honest here, there's no way they could've won here. If they put the three sensors in a pill, people still would've complained. If they did just two punch holes, people still would've complained.
It does make me wonder if they do have a Dynamic Island-like software solution to make it look better... but then people would also complain about that.
Either way, it's unique, that's all I really have to say. The average person will probably think the triple holes look either pretty cool or weird as hell, anyway.

5G ? Huawei made contract with Ericsson, or it's too soon probably the next flagship like P series Pro or something else, debuting 5G in Huawei phone again :) After early 2020 - Huawei P40 Pro

Time to have a phone with 6 notches, one on each corners and 2 on the sides. AOD screen saver would be a playable billiards game.

Uhhhh, I wish this had a wide selfie camera, an ultrawide selfie camera and *then* a ToF 3D sensor. I really wish smartphone manufacturers provided all three of these on their phones as standard features. The lack of a wide to complement the ultrawide makes this phone really disappointing for me.
