It is not separated by company and private buy.
If you buy a phone as a company you can play around with taxes and depending on country many other things. So it often makes sense to buy the most expensive phone you can find.
In many countries companys can get pure cash out that way into your bosses pocket.
If we were to split this two groups you would see that 90%+ of people probablly spend less then 150-200$

Just because of a camera that was in android phones that goes as far as 8 years ago (Zenfone zoom) and made mainstream by the Huawei Mate 20 Pro 5 years ago... What a shameful practice.

The camera might be sweet, but the "most popular" usually means "cheaper". Most "dreamed about" perhaps, but I think the ordinary 15, or PRO probably will outsell MAX.
