    Nextpaper tablet was just a marketing trick, it wasn't actually an e-paper device, just a normal lcd screen with some layers over it to make it look less aggressive. Effect you get with 1$ matte screen film protector

      What kind of implementation will this nxtpaper screen have???

      Gsmarena I wish you guys could review this to get yourselves out of your comfort zone.. with the typical LCD and OLED screens smartphone reviews

      I'm assuming this nxtpapaer smartphone is either using ambient light with no backlight at all in the display.. which is unheard of for LCD technology

      Which I wonder how long the battery life would be like and how good of an e-ink display alternative it would be

      Or there maybe some other implementations this generation
