after updating my phone is dead,since my phone is an imported one i cant go to samsung store,is there any way i can recover my phone.

This is a good phone anywhere, but after updated to 4.1.2 jb...feel very disappointed about this official firmware, because it cause lag, and take long time to respond, and clicking not good, and the internet browser is very lag even though is in google main page. The only advantage is the camera got zoom in function and good UI compare to 2.3.6 gingerbead

i am satisfied with my s advance with jelly bean update,someone have problem like hang and delay in loading and video play back,only solution is to disable battery power saving mode ...

First perform a kies update which will show popup for new firmware in kies when u connect mobile to PC. You can then update phone to the latest firmware which is JB.

You need to update kies to latest version first which will show new firmware details. Till now I did not face any issues with JB. Pretty cool android version...
