lins, 13 May 2013dear friends do not buy this product,Samsung playing jelly ... moreFriend its not Cheap set, it is Powerful machine, but there is some issue with JB update. if you are gamer then i suggest u to stick up to GB.
JB is good for normal user.

Plzzz tell me what should i do....the same problemmis wid me also. My device wass working great nad i decided to upgrade with jelly bean but after updating.. my ph starterd hanged at every moment and it taked so much time to to open application.....why it is so what should i do?????? plssss tell me.......feeling so bad and provide me customer care number

Am very happy with this OS i found the processor performance is good compared to earlier OS.

i have upgraded S ADVANCE with android 4.1.2 (XXLQG)and odin 307
it luks gud n new wid differnt features....
but...m unable to connect my mobile network & wifi :O
mobyl has got a bit slow thn 2.3.6 (but not vry much)

for those who complain that Galaxy Advance becomes slow on JB Update, pls try the below:
Go to Settings>Developer options.
Activate the developer option.
Then, browse to the end below,there is a Apps section.
Select - Do not keep activities
Below that, open "Limit Background activities"
Select "At the most 2 Process"( Depending on how app intensive you are you can choose from 0 to 4).
this is increased the speed of my phone.
Also restart the phone at least once a day.

Freeing up ram will help the lagging issues. Samsung home(Touch wiz UI)consumes lot of ram. try alternate launchers. i use go launcher. it takes only 40-50 mb of ram. to see the difference check the ram in running applications. install launcher. make it default.restart your phone and check now. i my case before the launcher there is 97mb free ram and after installing launcher it is 140 mb. try yourself.mostly avoid touch viz

for those who finding JB more laggy
the only way to make your phone responsive is not to install more apps. make sure u have atleast 100 mb free memory. check it in application manager then in running apps. probably uninstall apps which takes more amount of ram for ex. facebook. it worked for me
