Google officially announces October 4 launch event for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro

Is that the pixel watch 2 in the picture? This new ir sensor looks to be useless.

    Those incremental updates are terrible. I own Pixel 6 Pro and this 8 Pro only has a better CPU, a better ultrawide and a better LTPO display. That's all after two years? Google is being the new Apple with boring updates.

    For me, flat display and more rounded corners are downgrade. It's gonna have more cheap feeling.

    Yes, step up the charging speed (not necessarily above 67W), forget the Exynos CPU, improve QC and you have easily the best Android out there.

        LoL same device like Pixel 7 worse price than my Moto Edge 40 Pro no accesories in box.
        Charging equal to speed of turtle on retirement and not even Snapdragon SD 8 gen 3.
        Maybe one day Tensor will be equal to snapdragon but reading many comments on every google pixel device says we are not there just yet. Not even close.

Current “slow” charging rates are more than sufficient for normal people who charge their phones at bedtime.

                        Pixel's design is pretty original and way different than the other "put camera island on corner" designs out there 🤢.

                        I'm literally tired and disgusted of everyone doing that thing. Its like they have zero imagination on how to arrange a bunch of sensors.

                                    Anyway, if tensynos 3 is not good, imagine it get nerfed for 8a.
