That Exynos 8890 is surely inferior compared to Apple A10 Fusion even when it first time released. I have been using my phone without a case or screen protector since iPhone 11 series and I have only shattered my phone once since then in spite of dropping it many times. The newer iPhones have very good shock resistance and build quality. Just last week I dropped my 14 Pro Max on concrete and nothing happened to it.
