Arkayon, 01 Sep 2023Why do people prefer OLED? Do you like to have your devices... moreAgreed. Can't wait for micro-LED technology to replace OLED once and forever.

Arkayon, 01 Sep 2023Why do people prefer OLED? Do you like to have your devices... moreNo issues here. Just don't leave your screen on a static image for a really long time and you will be fine.

Arkayon, 01 Sep 2023Why do people prefer OLED? Do you like to have your devices... moreIs it because you have your OLED panel tuned up in high brightness causing burn ins?

I could use this as handheld console, console connected to tv, pc connected to monitor and tablet without controllers.
With Steam deck being slow(not enough for newest games) and low resolution screen and Asus rog ally having serious issues with microsd cards with killing those i think this device is a winner, especially with that 8.8 inch screen with good ppi(you can use Amd fsr 2/3 on demanding games and the image quality will be better than native 800p).

Because with smaller screens that is easier, also the software tries to prevent it too compared to desktop OS.
IPS Glow is a issue, but let’s not ignore issues OLEDs have because there are plenty of them.
On a phone I don’t care which I have, but yes OLED is on the upper hand.
But on desktop pcs and notebooks I rather not, not to mention a lot of people forget that OLEDs have more issues the bigger they get, due to the tech never meant to be used that way.
Same with VA panels being used for gaming monitors, that tech was never meant for it.

Worst part is that users selling them try to pass off burn-in as normal since it doesn't affect the phone's performance.
