        Wow I'm stunned

As much as I hate Samsung for delivering the laziest foldable design of the entire market I must admit this is gorgeous

Last year looked so much better, this is weird...

Can I buy in India or available for india?

Anonymous, 07 Sep 2023and look what happened to those brands that you mention rig... moreBy marketshare numbers you'd think they're failing. However, Motorola has the best desktop mode on the market and the most system components updated through the Google Play store. Sony has the most cutting edge sensor technology and full stop the best manual camera and manual video modes in any phone. So yes, you can say all you want about their marketshare, that doesn't effect the innovations they have contributed and will contribute to the smartphone space. No offense, but consumers are dumb. They'd rather buy an iPhone because someone told them it's the bestest, then do their research and realize that their needs would be met by a 300$ phone. In a world where that is the norm, Sony and Motorola not having huge market shares means about as much as flies not making up the most mass of any living being. Of course not, but their mass is smaller than most creatures, if we were to measure the success of their species based on that we would think they're about to go extinct, when in reality they are thriving. Similarly, while Sony and Motorola don't have the most profit share, both of them are huge innovators, and both of them have a profitable business. What you think of them does not change that. Innovation is still innovation even if only a small demographic can enjoy it at first. One day a desktop mode will be a staple of any phone, just like it already is on Samsung, LG, and Motorola phones. Those who use the feature know how useful it is, and are likely tech enthusiasts. The rest of technology users, are either not tech enthusiasts and so haven't seeken out a device with the feature, or are tech enthusiasts and it either doesn't work for them or they don't know of its usefulness. Sony phones are an example of this drip down of innovation in action. The first phone to feature a manual camera mode paved the way for modern smartphones with professional camera controls. Exmor-T is an amazingly innovative technology that once adopted by all sensor manufacturers, will mean better image quality in all conditions, but especially at night for the average person. So, before you go calling a company a failure based on their marketshare, remember that innovation and competition are not brought on by enormous corporations. Samsung didn't invent the digital transistor pixel image sensor, but it's a staple of any of their phones now. Apple didn't invent lithium ion technology, but without it their phones would be crippled. We as consumers should want both innovation and competition in the smartphone market. The only people who it serves to congratulate only the companies who are successful, are the top executives making money off of your purchase. In contrast, everybody benefits from innovation and competition. I would think the latter would be the better metric for success, given that without it, the smartphone industry would in fact be stagnant in the same way many reviewers claim it is while lazily panning a camera over, you guessed it, the latest Samsung or Apple phone.
